The Huawei P9 does also have the Night Shot function. A Night Shot is a long exposure shot up to 30 seconds. However, one should be perfectly still when taking the Night Shot, so better to have a tripod when doing so.
Front/Selfie Camera
The Huawei P9s' camera is at 8 Mega Pixels, a lot better than most of it's rival's 5 Mega Pixel Front Camera. The front camera also comes with a selfie screen flash, that's that in low light conditions, may help get a more decent selfie photo.
Video Camera
The Huawei P9 can record videos at 1080p resolution at 60 fps (frame rate per second). The Huawei P9's 1080p @ 60 fps is considered a bit of a turn-off compared to the standard of today's flagship phones 2160p video recording.
Want a slow motion replay? Why not set the Huawei P9's video recording to 720p. At 720p, it will record videos at stunning 120 frame rate per second.
Display
The Huawei P9's screen at 5.2" screen size is a little bit smaller than it's rivals. There's not much spectacular about the Huawei P9's display. It comes with a 1080p display at 443ppi (pixel per inch).
Battery
The Huawei P9 comes with a non-removable 3000mAh battery. That would be a lot of juice for a phone with 5.2" screen size at 1080p resolution. It is equipped with fast charging ability which fills the Huawei P9's battery at 40% for only 30 minutes of charging. However, the charger with the fast charging feature is sold separately and not as a standard Huawei charger that comes with the P9.
The Huawei P9 does also have power saving features. Huawei's so-called "ROG" power saving mode lowers the screen resolution down to 720p adding more battery life to the Huawei P9. Remember that the normal operating screen resolution of the Huawei P9 is at 1080p.
Connectivity
The Huawei P9 comes with a Type-C microusb for data transfer and charging. However, there is no Fm radio support for the P9. For wireless connectivity, the Huawei P9 is fully equipped. For fast mobile internet, the P9 comes with a fast 4G FDD/TDD LTE connectivity. It is also packed with a fast dual band 2.4/5.0Ghz Wi-Fi and the latest Bluetooth 4.2. For the Global Positioning System, the Huawei P9 is equipped with satellite receivers such as GPS, GLONASS and Beidou.
Build
While the makers of rival flagship phones describes the materials used to make their phones such as military-grade aircraft aluminum, Huawei says that materials used to make the Huawei P9 as such as aerospace-class aluminum. Well, they're both the same kind of aluminum metal, just wondering what's the difference. But anyway, the Huawei's aerospace-class aluminum is the reason why the P9's build is durably great.
Finally
After all been said, would you still want to break that piggy bank for the Huawei P9?
