Performance

The Motorola Z Droid is equipped with the top performing chipset from Qualcomm. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, which is widely used in today's flagship phones powers the Motorola Z Droid. Paired with a blazingly fast 4GB LPDDR4 of RAM, The Moto Z Droid can give you all the power you need with ease. Whether it maybe playing games, video streaming and other apps running at the same time, any Moto Z Droid user wouldn't have any problem at all, simply called multitasking at it's best.

Display

The Motorola Z Droid comes with a crisp 5.5" AMOLED 1440p Quad HD Display. The 5.5" screen is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass. The display does have a remarkable pixel per inch (ppi) density at 535ppi. Corning Gorilla Glass protects the Motorola Z Droid's screen from shattering at hand-level drops which by study it is at most (80%) of mobile phone drops. The Quad HD 2K screen resolution is by far the best for Motorola.

Connectivity

The Motorola Z Droid can be wire connected through a Type-C microUSB that supports charging, data transfer and headphones.

For wireless connectivity, the Motorola Z Droid supports a very fast WiFi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac 2.4 +  5ghz with MIMO. It also comes with the latest Bluetooth 4.1 LE version. For mobile internet connectivity, the Motorola Z Droid is equipped with an LTE (Long-Term Evolution) cat. 9 connectivity for fast mobile internet.

Battery

The battery of the Motorola Z Droid is a bit of a disappointment because considering it 5.5" screen size, the 2600mAh battery capacity is a bit lacking. With a power hungry chipset, it is doubtful if the Motorola Z Droid's juice gonna last long. However, without forgetting that the Z Droid is a modular phone, one can easily attach the Incipio offGrid Power Pack modular battery accessory, providing juice for an all day long or two multitasking. Furthermore, even without the modular battery accessory, one must also not forget that the Motorola Z Droid is equipped with what Motorola calls "TurboPower" capability, which in theory that, a 15 minutes charging will provide enough power equivalent to an 8 hours mixed phone usage.

Modular Phone

The Motorola Z Droid, a modular phone - a first for the Chinese acquired mobile maker. Modular accessories can be attached on the Motorola Z Droid without turning of the phone. Unlike other modular phone just like the LG G5 that needs to be turned off before any modular accessory can be attached. Modular accessories for the Z Droid are bought separately. These accessories are the Moto Insta-Share Projector, JBL Soundboost speaker and the Incipio offGrid Powerpack.

The Motorola Z Droid is made from military-aircraft grade aluminum and stainless steel. These durable materials made it possible to make the Motorola Z Droid ultra-thin Android smartphone. The Z Droid is also coated with a water repellent coating. However, it is not an IP86 certified so it is not water and dust resistant.
